My passion for marketing wine began early in my career. I entered the field at an exciting time—Oregon’s wine and craft beer brewing pioneers were just beginning to create unique and storied products. I realized there was an opportunity to help expand the local palate beyond industrial beers and California wines. And along the way, I found my life’s work.
Today, after thirty years in the world of wine marketing and sales, I am using the creativity and customer engagement skills I honed during my career to help small to midsized wineries and craft distilleries navigate the new beverage industry landscape with a disciplined and simplified approach.
I believe that while the marketing truisms—you can't be everything to everyone, always do the right thing, grow your mix, focus on the customer, and inspire your team to be the best—still hold, you also have to be part of what is new.
